Consequently, feral druid damage with the next patch will get even better. Let me explain.
Previously when a Feral Druid pooled energy he could off a 100 energy Ferocious bite and but with the recent changes it would only consume 65 energy about
power leveling. Meaning if he used a FB at 100 energy it would bring him down to 35 energy. See the problem? Two and a half seconds later, after a use of a FB the feral druid can follow up with a shred about
power leveling.
Now, what else is there? Oh yeah, the Tigers Fury which grants +60 energy. Before ferals could pool 100 energy, then use FB + TF + Shred. But now they do a 65 energy, wait two and a half seconds do a Shred TF and do another shred. They get two back to back shreds to get cheap
power leveling.
I am not a great player, so point out to me something that I am seeing wrong with this, but holy, this is a huge buff to feral druid burst, a shred 2.5seconds later eclipses the 35 energy worth of damage that the FB would of done and being able to do TWO Shreds in a row after a FB.
31822 is arguably the most complete spec in the game. The huge burst damage of the classic 31812 coupled with the amazing utility of preparation, improved sap and of course, the final point in improved ambush for a potential 3CP ambush with an enormous crit rate. 22/8/31 sacrifices the sustained power of seal fate for much greater front load damage, thanks to premeditation and master of subtlety to get cheap
power leveling.
Seal fate combat is the standard combat PVP build. Fist weapon crit helps seal fate immensely. Adrenaline rush with seal fate into a cold blood eviscerate is tremendous burst damage for a spec that lacks it. Improved garrote and deadly throw also greatly reduced a combat rogues vulnerability against mages about
power leveling.
