I am sure a top horde rogue already experienced against shamans, with better gear than I have, can use Prep/COS to defeat even the best of the best shamans. You need good stamina, but you also want a lot of +healing items against a shaman with low DPS. I used heroism against him, with 2T3 about power leveling (or 8BF), throw in dual life steal if you want to go that far, blind bandage (twice if you manage everything perfectly), and it is a lot of healing to get power leveling.

He will have to DPS potentially 10K+ HP, 30 second evasion, 10 second spell immunity, and keeping himself alive at same time. Also a naxx geared rogue will also have 8-10% more DPS than I do, with Hemo COS, Servo Arm; they can get something like 1200-1300 AP, 30-32% crit, unbuffed. That added extra DPS will definitely make a difference in a fight like this.

Still, even with my gear setup to get power leveling, I was able to win 3 in a row in the very end when I started to use prep every fight. I included our very last fight. It is not perfectly played but I am sure you can see my concept of winning this match. I find Premed CS rupture GS hemo COS the best opener, then u let energy recover and 2-3CP KS him to bait trinket about power leveling.

By the way, it is a long fight, but keeping mind numbing poison applied as much as possible is simply key. I got a very nice break when he war stomped me and poison totem could not remove mind numbing poison in time, so I was able to kick his lesser healing wave. Always leave at least 25 energy in your bar, being able to stop lesser healing wave is critical to get power leveling.
