Guild Wars 2 is a Highly-Anticipated MMORPG based on the world of Guild Wars and developed by NCsofe and ArenaNet. The F2P game have a special persistent world, one still set in Tyria, but now 250 years after the players defeat the Great Destroyer in the Eye of the North expansion. After improving the original game's engine, Guild Wars 2 will show us true 3D environments, enhanced graphics and animations and the use of the Havok physics system which makes the game be a brand new one. However, Guild Wars 2 is a whole new game with different professions and races for guild wars gold, new technology, and expanded gameplay. So you can not play your original Guild Wars character in Guild Wars 2 but your characters in Guild Wars be able to reserve their character names from the original series to use in Guild Wars 2; however, the characters themselves will not be transferable. Some in-game achievements will be translated into Guild Wars 2 using the Hall of Monuments in the Eye of the North expansion.
