Why duel when 2v2, 3v3, and 5v5 arena are all the rages these days? Well it is simple, you will never, ever be top tier in arena PVP without dueling top opponents. Dueling is the fastest way to develop speed powerleveling, timing and more importantly, gain knowledge about your opponents. This is especially important in TBC, where every class gained so many tricks that in order to defeat them, you really need to learn the match-ups all over again about powerleveling.

Quite simply, a properly played and geared 30031 rogue is the strongest class in the game 1v1 at the pre-gladiator gear range. You see in TBC, Blizzard gave us a counter for pretty much everything other classes can throw at us. Cloak of shadow against casters, wound poison against turtles, shiv/deadly throw against kiters, and of course, the fact that every class lost around 10% armor reduction, is a huge buff to physical DPS about powerleveling.
