European team outfit Method will work once again with German esports production company TakeTV for its next “Race to World First” broadcast, Method and other top-level organizations will attempt to beat the new Ny’alotha World of Warcraft raid before any other team worldwide. Broadcasting begins Jan. 28, with commentary and analysis through the Method Twitch channel. Eleven Method players, as well as five from German guild Aversion will stream their attempts live from the TakeTV studio in Krefeld, Germany.
Having won both of 2019’s major raid races, Method stated that over 758.5M viewer minutes were spent on its Twitch channel over July 15-21 (the most recent race), reaching a peak concurrent view count of 248K. More than half were from Europe, and an additional 38% from North America. The raid is made available in North America first, giving teams in that region a head start. In addition, Cheap Vanilla WOW Gold is on hot sale at our website 5mmo.com.
Method, the favorites and host of the event, is expected to once again come out on top. But realistically, almost anyone could win. It was a close shave last time and underdog guilds are known for working their way up the ranks and stealing away the world first title. The race will start on Jan. 28 at 3pm CT on the U.S. server when the raid opens, while it’ll begin a day later for Europe on Jan. 29. This means North American guilds will have a clear advance, but it hasn’t stopped China or Europe from winning in the past.
Throughout the event, Method’s raiders that are live at the event will join the broadcast to analyse what the guild is doing, explain its strategies, and share insight into the event. All of this will be broadcast live from TaKeTV’s Studio.
To top it all off, Method will also be hosting a viewing party on Jan. 31, as well as a charity event for Save the Children. More details will be revealed shortly. In the last race, viewers raised a total of $60,000. |
