There are several methods to begin moving around Azeroth in World of Warcraft, which each of them is helpful and beneficial.
   The land of Azeroth is quite large and there are multiple contents. It can be a challenge to get around in the world at first. There are a few key methods to get from one place to another. Once you know what to look for getting around is not as challenging as it first appears.
   The first method is that when you first start a character feel free to explore it. You have started in the 'Newbie Zone' which is relatively safe and secluded. Most monsters will not attack you unless you attack them. Even on a PvP server, it should be relatively safe.
   The second method is that once you leave the newbie zone, the monsters will start getting a bit harder and start attacking on sight. Exploring can be more challenging. If you are at too low level, stick to the roads and towns.

You are able to look for a green exclamation mark on your minimap when you first arrive in a new town.
