WOW GOLD-Why are WoW Players often frowned upon |
|
Just by reading the title, most people should have an idea of what this might be about already. Specifically, I wanted to write about the "stigma" that is attached to most every WoW player when seen by a player of a different competitive game. This has come up quite a bit lately, particularly in Heroes of Newerth, where people will often casually make conversation with a simple question like to get cheap wow gold, "so what other games do you play?" Typical responses like "CS" will simply be followed up with "Oh, do you prefer Source or 1.6?" and other responses like, "Starcraft" will typically evoke replies of "Protoss, Terran, or Zerg?"
But quite frequently these days, if the answer is "WoW" instead of games such as the aforementioned ones about WOW GOLD, the ridicule of "lol WoW is or "why would you play WoW?" usually begins. Now before everyone starts jumping to conclusions on how this is another Jasi-esque anti-WoW article, I will say right now that I disagree with these types of stigmas, but will discuss why I think there are two sides to the argument here to get cheap wow gold.
So why WoW players are often frowned upon? Well this similarly relates to my old article I wrote about the skill that different gaming genres take to master, but more often than not, many gamers feel that WoW takes very little skill to be good at and thus WoW players are often respected much less than, let us say, Starcraft players. In their eyes, a game like Starcraft takes infinitely more skill about WOW GOLD, and being good at WoW is entirely time-investment and luck based. But wait, going off that same train of logic, would not No-Limit Poker be entirely luck based, as well? After all, everyone is basically dealt just 2 cards and you have to hope that the cards dealt afterward are favorable to the 2 cards you have, right? |
