WOW GOLD-Real-Time Strategy |
|
Firstly, the widely popular competitive RTS was Command and Conquer and ever since Westwood Studios set the benchmark with their acclaimed C&C series of games to get WoW Gold, many others have been created that are widely played competitively at tournaments such as Warcraft, Starcraft, DotA, and more recently, Heroes of Newerth (HoN) WoW Gold. RTS games have been played competitively at numerous LAN tournaments with big name players such as Grubby, Lyn, and Moon from Warcraft and Boxer, Jaedong, and Savior from Starcraft about WoW Gold.
These games are typically seen as requiring a tremendous amount of skill and coordination in order to master due to the high amount of complex macro and micromanagement involved with units, structures, items, and resources to get WoW Gold.
Though the genre seemed to be a dying breed with WoW replacing Warcraft and Starcraft at ESL tournaments ever since WWI Paris of last year, a new breath of life has emerged with the recent beta testing of Heroes of Newerth (HoN). Because HoN has recently partially lifted their NDA, you can find out a lot of information about the game now on the internet with a particularly great preview here on Gameriot about WoW Gold. With new patches and tournaments already in the works to an already amazing re-creation of DotA, it is almost certain that HoN will eventually turn out to be one of the most competitive RTS/action games in the future about WoW Gold.
I personally feel that RTS games do in fact require a tremendous amount of skill in order to properly manage everything going on at once, however, at the same time, I feel that the results of these types of games are sometimes heavily determined by factors outside the control of the players and thus it seems rather difficult to be a consistent winner in this field as a result. |
