When players use this new system to invite friends who have yet to play FINAL FANTASY XI GIL to the exciting world of Vanadiel, both parties will receive special items in the game.

Those have dreamed of sharing your adventures with your friends; do not miss out on this unique opportunity! Unique items for you and your friends! (Note: All days are in Earth time) On the first day, the invited friend will receive 12 Chocopasses, an instant warp, and an instant reraise. 40 days after inviting the friend, the inviting party will receive a black mandragora-style Guide Beret and the invited friend will receive a white mandragora-style Sprout Beret.

70 days, 100 days, and 365 days after inviting the friend, both parties will receive extra special items such as the Detonator Belt, Timepiece, and Miniature Airship. Instead of the original Vanadiel Adventurer Recruitment Program items listed above, starting on the 40th day, players can choose from a plethora of other unique items.

A FFXI GIL World Pass is a 10-digit password that allows players to invite their friends to join their adventures in the same World while receiving an added incentive. They may be purchased in-game for 1000 gil and the term of validity is seven days (Earth time).

Once you have given a Gold World Pass to one of your friends, all that remains is for that friend to enter the password on the character creation screen when first creating a FINAL FANTASY XI GIL.

A Gold World Pass can only be used once. Thus, if a player wishes to invite multiple friends to play FINAL FANTASY XI GIL, a Gold World Pass must be purchased for each friend.
